The event will be all about hearing from you and working together to think about and create the future of Co-Production and Lived Experience Involvement across Sussex.

This in-person event is on Wednesday 11 February 2026 starting at 9.30am and finishing around 4.30pm, at 21-23 Clarendon Villas, Hove, BN3 3RD.

The day has been fully co-produced and will be facilitated by a team of people with lived and/or learned experience from Possability People,Capital, Changing Futures Sussex and SPFT.

Who’s the event for?

This session is open to anyone in Sussex, who has an interest in co-production and working co-productively to improve the system and services for people experiencing multiple compound needs/multiple disadvantage.

You may be

  • an Expert By Experience,
  • a Volunteer,
  • a Peer Support worker,
  • supporting people in a work or voluntary capacity,
  • managing or leading a service,
  • developing strategy and policy around services and systems.

We’d really benefit from your thoughts, ideas and experiences – come and join the conversation.

What will be your role on the day?

We can’t do this without you – your participation is vital.

Having said that, all you need to do is bring yourself, an open mind, your lived and/or learned experiences, ideas and a willingness to participate – we’ll do the rest!

What will we be doing?

We want to celebrate what we have done and achieved together over the last 4 years. Alongside that, we’ll be working together to think about what Co-production and Lived Experience Involvement should look like as we move into 2026 and beyond. We’ll all bring our ideas and possibilities, identify and tackle challenges, build partnerships and relationships, and start building a plan for the future.

Why is it important?

The benefits and impact of Co-Production in services and the wider system across Sussex is now well known but there’s still a way to go. With resourcing and financial challenges increasing, together we can make sure that Co-production and meaningful Lived Experience Involvement remains at the heart of everything.
